Endermologie Cellulite
What is Endermologie?
Endermologie is a non-surgical, temporary
cellulite reduction technique.
Endermologie uses mechanical rollers
and suctions
to provide intense massage
to cellulite affected areas, breaking
down fat cells by stimulating circulation to
the trouble zone. With the use of rollers and
suctions,
endermologie cellulite treatment is
said to increase circulation by up to 200 percent,
creating smoother and toned effect on cellulite
problem areas, thereby, endermologie
can be quite effective for cellulite reduction.
Each of the endermologie cellulite therapy
lasts 30 to 45 minutes and conducted 1 to 2
times per week until the desired cellulite
reduction effect is reached. In average,
each patient needs 15 to 18 treatments
to achieve maximum results and they will need
to undergo more endermologie treatments
for cellulite to achieve better results.
Because endermologie only deals with
the appearance of cellulite and not
the underlying
causes, additional monthly maintenance
sessions are needed to maintain the effect.
Each endermologie cellulite therapy
costs $50 to $70 and the maintenance is between
$50 and $70 a month.
How effective
is Endermologie Cellulite Treatment?
Though the cost of each endermologie
session is relatively lower than liposuction,
it is still expensive considering the effectiveness
of the final result for cellulite reduction
is not guaranteed. It is reported that only
one third of patients will be able to benefit
from this cellulite reduction treatment
technique.
The final result depends on several factors:
- The experience
of technician in conducting the endermologie
therapy
Little improvement can be seen if the pressure
and suction
of the treatment
is insufficient.
- Diet and exercise
The less active you’re involved in exercise
and diet,
the less likely you will achieve visible result.
Note that endermologie does not get
rid of cellulite completely but helps to
reduce the dimpling, “orange-peel”
cellulite appearance. Endermologie
cellulite treatment is available in the U.S
through plastic surgeons, ob-gyns, bariatric specialist
and dermatologist.
